Thanksgiving Festivities

Our Thanksgiving weekend started with a fun camp-out night in our bedroom with popcorn & a movie. The boys really love sleeping in the tent, but it's too cold outside, so we set it up on our bed & that way it's comfy for Dad & I too!!
Thursday Aunt Mary had everyone over for dinner & the Broncos game. It was wonderful to visit with family that I haven't seen since I was young!! I probably ate like 4 helpings to myself & that doesn't include the pie, and still saw Aunt Mary putting away food!! You could really tell that everyone was having a great time!!
I love this pic of Ms Ashley & Braden!
The boys were hard at play outside after dinner! Parker, Kayden & Karder were throwing piles of leaves in the air and running under the leaf shower!! Too cute! They play so well together
Meanwhile the ladies mixed it up in the house. My cousin Casey & his wife Kelli's baby girl Sierra is due in less than 2 months!! Joanna and I are finished having babies (well, after raising 5 kids, I know Joanna is done for sure!!)
Braden's been eating his hand for the last month or so...I think his eye teeth are breaking.
:( poor kid
Parker & Kayden were hardly apart the whole night!!
Only a couple more days & Brian with be Papa Brian
I think we have the same color eyes; Grandma Sandy's eyes!!
We are truly thankful to God for our health
& family & friends!! We are blessed!!
Thank You Thank You Thank You

Great Aunt & other events

We're thrilled to be awaiting the arrival of my great nephew, Karston due in less than 3 weeks on Dec. 5th!! I can't believe I'll be a great aunt!! We're so excited for Nicole & Josh!! I'm a little behind on the blogging, but one of her baby showers was 2 weeks ago. We (yes, Phil & the boys came) had a great time! (Seems like yesterday we were having our first baby shower, and still had no clue what our futures had in store)
There isn't anything that anyone can say or do to prepare you for being a parent!! Everyday is a new experience and each child is a completely different person; pride & joy will have a brand new meaning!
Today we went to the rec. center. After swimming and sliding, we went into the game room and a played for a while. We've been keeping busy, which has been great! Phil is working more often & I was offered a new position within Wells! Stay tuned... I had to throw this pic in of the boys before bed. Unbelievable how quickly they grow & change!! We are thoroughly enjoying our children & being parents!! Each day has new challenges, then you look at their smiling faces & realize how lucky you are, and get over it.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Can't wait to read stories & see the pics of our family & friend's holidays!!
